- We are locally owned and operated by people right here in Fort Collins, not some sucky corporate chain.
- We are committed to serving only the freshest fish.
- We don't serve threatened or endangered species, though it is difficult to agree upon which those are.
- We don't serve farmed fish largely recognized to be harmful to the environment.
- We sell all of our fish by weight (except for oysters and shrimp cocktails).
Thus, the number of shrimp, or scallops, or crab legs, or calamari rings and tentacles that you get in your order may vary.
- We don't catch the fish. Please understand the availability of fish can be very spotty and is definitely seasonal.
We cannot always get every fish every day. Additionally, we keep only the freshest fish available. Consequently, you may find that we are temporarily out of your favorite fish, but don't despair . . . We are here to help, and will find you a really great alternative in our fish selection that you will find delicious.
- We serve local products whenever possible and are affiliated with Colorado Proud, a Colorado Department of Agriculture program designed to help Colorado businesses support each other. To see a complete listing of our Colorado vendors, please visit the Vendors section of our website.
- We use trans-fat free oils for all of our cooking.
- We do not list all of the ingredients for each dish we serve. Therefore, if you have an allergy or aversion to a particular food, it is very important that you let us know prior to ordering so we can inform you if it is present in any of the selections you are interested in.
- We almost always have some tempeh and chicken in the fridge for our (somehow) non-fish-eating friends.
- We generally do not accept coupons or discounts on weekends, which is Friday evening and Saturday, all day.
- We have a great kids menu.
